Porter Robinson
After starting in electro house, North Carolina-based Porter Robinson redirected his sound toward melodic synth-pop and indie electronica with his 2012 breakout track "Language" and 2014 debut album *Worlds*. Under his Virtual Self alias, he earned a Grammy nomination for the neotrance track "Ghost Voices," following his successful 2016 collaboration with Madeon, "Shelter." Alongside curating the Second Sky festival, Robinson has continued to evolve his style on subsequent albums *Nurture* and *SMILE! :D*, incorporating acoustic instrumentation, guitar-driven indie pop, and live vocals.
